Our samples are chosen carefully from many leading suppliers including Tipperary Textiles, Blendworth, Prestigious, Belfield, and Textile Images to name but a few. We constantly update our selection with the latest colours and designs, as you can see from the photos of our curtain library.
Also we have over 100 sample books to choose from. If you know a specific fabric and size required, we will gladly quote you (You can our online form here). Please note: Sizes given should be width x height.
However, our prices for such really good quality fabrics are only a fraction of the price that others charge!

Flame Retardant Fabrics
Many commercial premises, educational and healthcare facilities require flame retardant fabrics for insurance and safety reasons. We supply flame retardant specific fabrics in House of Fabric:
We have chosen specialists Drapilux, who specialise in the supply of flame retardant fabrics. Drapilux have a vast collection of beautiful materials in a multitude of colours ideal for commercial buildings ranging from Healthcare, Leisure and Education environments to Hotels, Cruise Liners, Airlines, Restaurants to Bars. Some examples of Drapilux can be seen in the Hotel Kilmore and Castle Mannor nursing home, both based in Cavan.
It is manufactured using speciality polyester fibre and offers the additional benefits of antibacterial properties and flame-retardant fabrics for the hospital and healthcare sectors. The fibres are used in the Drapilux Bioaktiv collection of fabrics from Drapilux (a subsidiary of Germany’s Schmitz-Werke), the colours and designs of which are said to be appropriate for clinic and healthcare sectors.
In particular, Drapilux upholstery and decorative fabrics are being used in hospitals, health clinics and care institutes to aid in the safety and comfort.
