Curtains
Our experienced curtain makers produce French Pleat, Pencil Pleat, Eyelet curtains and Roman Blinds, with matching pelmets, tie backs and cushion covers if required. We are agents for Gardisette nets and we stock ready to hang net curtains by the yard. We carry ready made curtains from Montgomery and we are exclusive distributors of SLX Express, GinaG, Curtina.
Blinds
We have the excellent value in Roller, Vertical, Venetian Blinds, Roman Blinds all complete with child safety locks as standard. At House of Fabric, we also stock the new look Wooden Shutters in a large range of colours and sizes. We have recently launched our new 63mm wooden venetian blinds which are available in a selection of colours. Poles & Accessories
We supply and fit curtain tracks, poles and rails suitable for all types of windows, including bay windows, (Please see diagrams here). We manufacture on site for various shaped windows. The House of Fabric was established in 1982 providing a complete measure, make up and fitting service.
Duvets, Throws & Bedding
At House of Fabric, we have a new range of bed linen with coordinating curtains, cushions and throws. We are delighted to announce that House of Fabric are exclusive retailer for Artesia bed linen which include duvet covers, pillows, duvets and bed sheets. Whether you need a new duvet and cushions or a bedroom redesign, we have the selection to meet your needs.
Quality Fabrics
We stock a full range of upholstery fabrics including chenille and leatherette at very competitive prices. We can have your suite, dining room chairs and cushions reupholstered. We will collect & deliver making it a much cheaper option than buying a new suite.
At House of Fabric, we carry an extensive range of fabric samples from leading manufacturers, names such as Prestigious textiles, Voyage, Tipperary textiles, Designs With Style, Textile Images, Blendworth, Belfield and Hardy Fabrics to name a few. We stock Drapilux flame retardant fabrics which is ideal for the commercial market including hotels, nursing homes, hospitals, schools, bars and restaurants.
Service & Value
We can offer a home selection service, i.e. sample curtains from our library, can be brought to your home to match furniture, walls and floors.

In May 2008, we have moved to a state-of-the-art showroom, on the Dublin road, with everything under one roof. We have 1500 samples on display for your convenience, all with in-house making, and free parking.
With over 6,000 square feet of shopping space, you are welcome to come in and browse around, you won’t be disappointed. We offer free measuring service.

Flame Retardant Fabrics
Many commercial premises, educational and healthcare facilities require flame retardant fabrics for insurance and safety reasons. We supply flame retardant specific fabrics in House of Fabric:
We have chosen specialists Drapilux, who specialise in the supply of flame retardant fabrics. Drapilux have a vast collection of beautiful materials in a multitude of colours ideal for commercial buildings ranging from Healthcare, Leisure and Education environments to Hotels, Cruise Liners, Airlines, Restaurants to Bars. Some examples of Drapilux can be seen in the Hotel Kilmore and Castle Mannor nursing home, both based in Cavan.
It is manufactured using speciality polyester fibre and offers the additional benefits of antibacterial properties and flame-retardant fabrics for the hospital and healthcare sectors. The fibres are used in the Drapilux Bioaktiv collection of fabrics from Drapilux (a subsidiary of Germany’s Schmitz-Werke), the colours and designs of which are said to be appropriate for clinic and healthcare sectors.
In particular, Drapilux upholstery and decorative fabrics are being used in hospitals, health clinics and care institutes to aid in the safety and comfort.
